We strive to be a progressive salon staying at the “forefront of fashion” while still creating a unique look for our guest. Comfort and suitability would be our objective always having our guests feel at home in their new look. We want to be famous for the way we cut and color hair while making our guests feel at home, relaxed, and pampered. We are committed to building life long relationships with our guests and creating a team who share this enthusiasm.

Our Owner and Creative Director, Sue Beck Currie, has successfully led the Salon Beck Team since 2008. With a combination of artistry, business acumen, and proven ability to teach, she has inspired and empowered stylists to successfully thrive by being artists. It is her true passion to continue learning and grow people through mentorship.

Prior to Salon Beck, Sue spent her career transforming clients and inspiring stylists. She is an accomplished stylist and educator. Throughout her career, Sue developed and implemented multiple programs to train and guide assistants into becoming successful stylists. She spent her time working and collaborating with top organizations in the industry including, Sassoon’s, Glemby, M.E.I., Regis Co., CUTCO Industries, Paul Mitchell and Paragon Salons.

She has provided editorial for Mademoiselle, Good Housekeeping, Italian and Australian Vogue as well as Canadian Marie Claire magazines.

Sue has committed herself to seeking out and continuing her education through the brightest and best educators in the industry. Her career includes training with Vidal Sassoon, London and Santa Monica; Mahogany, London and Chicago; Rush, London; Toni and Guy, London and Dallas; L’Oreal, New York City; and Color Cutting USA under the direction of Sir Scott Cole and Linda Yodice.

Sue has a passion for haircutting unmatched by most and her vocation is to share that love with the future stylists of our industry.
